The Grand Unveiling The SecurityWebb was officially introduced to the market at the ASHRAE Show in Chicago, which lasted from January 23rd to January 25th, 2012. The SecurityWebb is high quality, innovative, adaptable and extremely practical securing most equipment brands thru 6 ton capacity. SecurityWebb holds equipment in place while encapsulating condensing unit access panels, a critical requirement given current and existing panel assemblies will be highly scrutinized and are unlikely to comply with the updated wind calculations as specified in the 2010 - 2011 Nationally recognized building codes. These updated requirements have been implemented by the State of Florida effective 3/15/2012, with other coastal states poised to follow their lead; the SecurityWebb has it covered! It meets and exceeds the updated wind compliance calculations set forth in section 1609.8 of the Florida Building Code 2010 edition (dirived from the International Building Code) which incorporates the requirements of ASCE 7-10. The SecurityWebb is Certified for all Coastal and inland Hurricane conditions, its compliant for ground level and roof top applications to 220 feet vertically at 180 mph. The SecurityWebb’s assembly and component specifications have been reviewed and certified by consulting engineer Roger Jeffery, PE of Florida as conforming with all of these new code requirements. SecurityWebb will secure the condenser to the pad adequately up to the mid-range of a Category F-3 tornado. The SecurityWebb offers three sizes thru 6 ton which are packaged in (12”x12”x4”) boxes for easy handling, stocking and shipping.

The SecurityWebb is a high quality aesthetically desirable theft deterrent device that offers unmatched redundant protection without impeding equipment service or critical equipment air circulation area as most security cages do, thus diminishing efficiency, capacity and longevity. SecurityWebb keeps equipment on the pad while encapsulating condensing unit access panels. From the SecurityWebb’s lockable split hub, coated aircraft cables extend over and down to steel anchoring brackets that attach to a concrete house keeping pad using embedded expansion anchors; an additional coated aircraft cable is placed horizontally around condensing equipment approximately midway from top to bottom, then mechanically attached at each vertical cable cross point utilizing a four way crossover clamp, resulting in vertically securing condensing equipment to the housekeeping pad and horizontally obstructing access to vulnerable equipment panels. SecurityWebb's threaded fasteners are high quality tamper resistant nuts and/or bolts. The SecurityWebb also features the unique ability to electronically monitor against tampering and can be “easily” connected to existing home security systems. SecurityWebb has it covered! The theft protection of all these features plus Hurricane wind protection.
